Recently refurbished, Kentraw Farmhouse b&b offers fresh, modern and spacious living accommodation for you to enjoy during your stay. The reception offers a quiet, relaxing environment with comfortable seating to chat, read or plan your itinerary for the days ahead. There are also complimentary tea/coffee making facilities available at all times. The guest lounge offers large leather sofas surrounding a wood burning stove… perfect for those cold winter evenings. There is also a large flat screen television where you can catch up with current affairs, or choose from a collection of DVDs should you wish to unwind before you retire to your room. A collection of books and board games are also available for all our guests to enjoy.

Your breakfast will be served in the kitchen–dining room. This is a delightful, welcoming room with a beautiful heated flag floor and solid oak furniture. The layout is very informal with a large communal dining table where we hope you will relax and socialise with your host, Geraldine, and our other guests. Our breakfast menu features a range of freshly prepared meals which of course includes a full cooked breakfast complete with haggis and a selection of espresso coffees to kick start your day.

Kentraw Farmhouse offers high quality, flexible accommodation to meet everyone’s needs. With tastefully decorated bedrooms with luxury finishes, all you have to do is choose the room which suits you. All our rooms offer down filled duvets and pillows, 100% pure cotton bedding, soft wool carpets, full wi-fi broadband connectivity, satellite television and luxury en-suite facilities with under-floor heated tiles and a range of complimentary Arran Aromatic toiletries.

Room 1

Located at the front of the house, this room enjoys breathtaking views across Loch Indaal. The room boasts a kingsize bed, solid oak furnishings and luxury en-suite bathroom facilities. This room has everything you require for a quiet, relaxing stay.

Master Suite

The Master Suite is an extremely spacious, well appointed room. Also situated at the front of the house, this room takes in the outstanding views across Loch Indaal. The Master Suite offers a super kingsize bed (or twin beds) as well as an informal seating area where you can relax in private after a day exploring the island. This room also has a large luxury en-suite bathroom.

Outdoors

The property is set in an acre of grounds,with wild moorland to the rear of the property and farmland running down to the shores of Loch Indaal.

The house is located a third of a mile off the main road and has ample parking within the grounds. We also have storage for bicycles or other leisure equipment should you wish (please enquire before arrival). We have two GT mountain bikes available for use by our guests.
